In an era of rising operating costs, aging building stock, and increasing climate risks, investing in energy efficiency and resiliency measures is critical to preserving and stabilizing affordable housing. Yet, many housing providers struggle with limited capital, complex incentive structures, and capacity constraints.
National Housing Trust (NHT) and Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future’s (SAHF) free program will help address these challenges by providing participants with practical tools, technical and program guidance, and targeted resources to help developers assess their portfolios for investment opportunities and map out practical next steps to ensure long-term portfolio stabilization.
