Join HouseATL for our first Member Convening of 2026!
We are excited to return to the DeKalb Conference Center at Georgia Piedmont Technical College for a morning of connection, conversation, and collaboration. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. for coffee and networking, with the convening beginning promptly at 9:30 a.m.

A dynamic panel on Homeownership Preservation moderated by Ashley Edwards, Owner of AAA Probate Resources and Co-Lead for Homeownership Preservation in the HouseATL Homeownership Working Group. The panel will highlight challenges and strategies in home repair, inherited homes and homeowner property taxes. Panelists will include Sara Bolling Mancini, Managing Director of Advocacy, National Consumer Law Center; Lisa Flowers Jones, Executive Director, House Proud. A breakout activity by attendees will inform the Homeownership Working Group's continued work on these topics.

Displays from Homeownership Preservation providers to give attendees an opportunity to learn more about services and opportunities for partnership.

An update on key local and state housing policies, including priorities emerging from the 2026 Georgia Legislative Session by Chelsea Arkin, Co-Chair of the Policy Working Group and Elizabeth Appley, Attorney and HouseATL representative at the State Capitol.

A presentation on new housing policy tools and plans in DeKalb County from DeKalb County Chief Housing Officer, Alan Ferguson.
The HouseATL Member Convening will be immediately followed by a DeKalb specific Housing Forum (12;00 -2:00), which requires separate registration. Look for it on the HouseATL events calendar. We look forward to gathering with our members as we kick off another impactful year together!
