The HouseATL Homeownership Preservation Sub-Committee will host a three-part webinar series leading up to the Dream HOME Expo in October. The series will focus on key issues impacting long-term homeownership preservation, including heirs property, property tax burden, and home modifications/critical repairs. Each webinar will help build shared understanding, provide practical resources, and create continuity leading into the Expo breakout sessions, where these topics can be brought together in a more accessible, action-oriented format for homeowners and community members.
Session 3: Making a Home Livable for Seniors: Home Modifications and Critical Repairs for Seniors will connect senior homeowners, caregivers, and service providers with home repair and modification resources that can help them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. Additionally, attendees will learn about programs, funding options, and practical guidance for navigating eligibility, clear-title requirements, and referrals across metro Atlanta.
