About this event

Join The Pew Charitable Trusts for a discussion on heirs' property and tangled titles, issues that can affect housing stability, land ownership, and economic opportunity. The event will feature presentations from Auburn University and the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy highlighting emerging research on state policies, data, and strategies to better understand and address heirs' property challenges.

Following the presentations, Sarah Stein, director of the FHLBank Atlanta Heirs' Property Law Clinic at Georgia State University, and Rachael Gallegos, Divisional Supervising Attorney in the Homeownership and Consumer Rights Unit at Community Legal Services of Philadelphia, will participate in a fireside chat exploring the real-world implications of heirs' property and opportunities for policy and practice. The program will conclude with a networking reception.
